Our acupuncturist, Hadley Clark, will be taking a six month sabbatical from her clinical practice at Open Door from August 2024 to January 2025. She will be expanding her healing techniques and offering treatments to underserved communities. Hadley is excited to bring her gifts and experience back to Open Door at the beginning of 2025. She will resume her regular schedule and begin accepting new patients in January 2025.

Doctor of Acupuncture
Hadley brings over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry to her practice at Open Door and Zenkai Acupuncture. By combining acupuncture, herbal medicine, and diet & lifestyle education, she offers an integrative approach to meet the unique needs of each patient.
As a former Emergency Medical Technician and supervisor of a Health Center at a boarding school & summer camp, Hadley has been on the forefront of delivering quality long-term & acute patient care since 1999. With training in both Eastern and Western medical techniques, Hadley’s approach to treating her patients is integrative, individualized and holistic. She has a gentle touch and is sensitive to her patients needs, adapting her treatments as necessary to ensure her patient’s comfort.
Hadley has a special interest in treating acute and chronic pain conditions, anxiety and depression, women's health issues (including menstrual & fertility issues, menopause, and postpartum care), digestive disorders, and pediatric conditions. Hadley practices Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese Acupuncture and Classical Acupuncture. She is also a certified practitioner of Medical Qigong and Reiki, and she integrates these modalities into her treatments as necessary. She treats people of all ages, including infants and children.
Hadley received her Masters degree from the New England School of Acupuncture, the oldest graduate school for Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine in the United States. She is nationally board certified and licensed in Vermont and Rhode Island. She is a member of the Vermont Acupuncture Association and recently served on the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island Society of Acupuncture where she is credentialed as a Doctor of Acupuncture.
When Hadley is not treating patients, she enjoys going on adventures in Vermont in the surrounding areas with her family. She is an avid traveler, a curious ecologist, an enthusiastic photographer and she has recently discovered an interest in sailing.
