This class offers a unique opportunity to embrace the inherent kinesthetic joy of being in your body—just as it is. Together, we’ll explore natural movement patterns that emerge from our biomechanics and sensory systems, engaging with gravity and the elegant principles of physics. Designed to be accessible to all and to feel like a dance or a moving meditation, the class incorporates neurodevelopmental movement patterns and somatic practices, including Body-Mind Centering and Laban-Bartenieff Fundamentals. Through playful and engaging exercises, we’ll cultivate a deeper connection to ourselves, our environment, and each other.

An introduction to parts work

These 2 hour workshops are an experiential introduction to Parts – aspects of our psyche that have individuated from a core Self – and how to make contact with, learn from, integrate, and even love those aspects. We’ll introduce the concept of parts, offer exercises and practices to work with them, and have opportunities for individual and group exploration to gain insight.
